Does the J25 replace the smartphone?
No. The smartphone remains the interface for PTT, messages, maps and location functions. Each equipped teammate carries a J25 paired to the phone by Bluetooth.
Can ChatField promise one maximum distance for every project?
No. Ideal open-terrain communication can reach up to 10 km in plains, open line-of-sight routes or areas with limited hills, and ChatField uses around 5 km as the urban-obstructed field-test distance. Useful distance still depends on terrain, obstacles, antenna position, interference, node placement, relay layout and permitted configuration. A real-route field trial is the responsible basis for procurement evaluation.
