01 · WHY LORA + MESH?
LoRa for long-range PTT and messaging. Mesh for multi-device team communication.
J28 assigns off-grid PTT voice to its LoRa device-send path, while the current interface also presents private, group, nearby and SOS messaging. Mesh organizes participating devices into a local multi-node network and can use up to two relay devices where the field layout permits. Exact payload routing and final range remain subject to engineering verification.

ChatField develops local team communication products for environments where cellular and Wi-Fi coverage cannot be assumed. J28 is the primary integrated-display prototype available through direct B2B quotation; J25 remains the phone-paired product with direct online checkout.

ChatField products are designed around PTT voice, messages and team coordination beyond dependable cellular coverage. Final functions and radio configuration remain model-specific.
ChatField J28
J28 is the integrated-display physical prototype now featured first and separately orderable through B2B quotation. Its screen-based workflows are described in the dedicated More Details page; it has no public price or online checkout.
ChatField J25
J25 uses a paired smartphone as its interface and provides the carried LoRa mesh radio link. The current two-device purchase path and FCC evidence remain available separately.
03 · HOW DOES J28 WORK?
One integrated display. Two communication controls. A local LoRa product direction.
The current J28 hardware and UI design separates an online voice path from a device LoRa PTT path. A 3.4-inch touch display brings selected messages, contacts and settings onto the device, while the phone app remains part of first-use binding and Bluetooth synchronization.

The current design starts with QR-code binding through the phone app. After successful binding, the operator can sign in on the device; password permissions remain configurable.
Select the communication path
A dedicated online-send control is assigned to voice through the phone-network path, while a separate device-send control is assigned to local LoRa PTT communication.
Operate from the display
The current 3.4-inch, 480 × 854 multi-touch design presents private, group, nearby and SOS message categories together with voice and PTT workflows.
Synchronize by Bluetooth
The design synchronizes private chats, group chats, nearby messages, SOS messages and contact information from the phone app over Bluetooth.
Configure and evaluate
Firmware update, language, text size, login permissions and hardware information are included in the UI plan. Final radio, battery and field-performance values still require engineering verification.
04 · J28 SPECIFICATION STATUS

The J28 UI document confirms interface and workflow details. It does not provide final enclosure dimensions, battery capacity, operating time, LoRa frequency, range, ingress rating or certification, so those fields remain visibly pending rather than being filled with assumptions.

Can I buy J28 online?
J28 does not use public online checkout. It can be ordered separately through a direct B2B quotation after the buyer submits the market, field workflow, estimated volume and customization requirements.
