What Documents Should an Off-Grid Communicator Campaign Make Easy to Download?

Prepared by the ChatField Editorial Team. Evidence reviewed August 18, 2026.

Backers and procurement teams should not need to search through campaign updates, screenshots and social posts to find the evidence behind a hardware claim. A controlled download center can make due diligence easier while preserving model, version and destination-market boundaries.

Short answer

Publish only current, approved documents and identify the exact model, version, date, issuing party and intended market. Separate public J25 evidence from J28 or future-product development. Do not upload confidential laboratory, supplier, customer or personal information merely to make the page look complete.

1. Current product PDF

The product PDF should summarize the exact product, smartphone workflow, supported functions, bounded range evidence, included items, model identity and contact route. Add a revision date and document number.

The download title should name J25 rather than using “ChatField product” if the information does not cover every model.

2. Controlled specifications

Provide a readable specification page or PDF that identifies hardware, radio configuration, phone/application relationship, interfaces, supported workflows and evidence notes. Mark values as tested, nominal, configurable or subject to quotation as appropriate.

Review the J25 specifications page for the current public presentation.

3. FCC grants and exact-model evidence

Current public J25 evidence includes FCC ID 2BVP9-J25. Link the current grant and relevant public reports with a short explanation of what each document covers.

Do not present an FCC record as a general guarantee of range, application behavior, emergency suitability or approval in another country. Do not apply J25 records to J28 without separate verification.

4. Battery and transport information

Where applicable and approved for public release, provide the battery specification, test-summary reference, shipping configuration and handling information needed by buyers and logistics partners. Match the exact battery and packed product.

If a required document is still under review, say so. Do not use a generic lithium-battery certificate from another product.

5. Application and firmware scope

State the supported phone platforms, application build, required permissions, update route and known compatibility boundaries. Avoid publishing credentials, signing keys, source code or security-sensitive internal details.

The How It Works page should explain the phone-to-Bluetooth-to-J25-to-LoRa-mesh path in crawlable text.

6. Support, warranty and after-sales terms

Publish only terms that have been approved: contact channel, coverage period where confirmed, exclusions, repair or replacement route, software support responsibility and response expectations.

If a term is awaiting confirmation, label it clearly rather than inventing a standard warranty.

7. Company and manufacturing information

Identify the product brand, developer, seller, support provider and manufacturing role accurately. A company profile or factory photo does not by itself prove origin, capacity, certification or responsibility for every activity.

Use the ChatField company profile for the approved corporate story.

8. Revision history

List document name, model, revision, publication date, replaced version and change summary. Keep old links redirected or clearly archived so search engines and buyers do not find contradictory current specifications.

Protect sensitive material

Do not publish confidential schematics, personally identifiable information, private customer reports, unrestricted site maps, unredacted signatures, internal credentials or documents whose release rights are unclear. A public download center should improve due diligence without creating security or privacy risk.

Link every claim to the right evidence

The FTC advises advertisers to have a reasonable basis for objective claims before publication. A download center helps only when the evidence actually supports the exact model and statement used on the campaign page.

Visit the ChatField compliance page or contact ChatField procurement support to request the current public documents for the product under evaluation.

FCC and FTC do not endorse ChatField or J25. Their materials provide authorization and advertising context, not approval of the download index.
